German vehicle technology manufacturer ZF Group has appointed Paramjit Singh Chadha to two new roles within the company’s India operations.
From 1 July 2025, Chadha takes on the roles of Managing Director of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited and Senior Vice President of the ZF CVS Division in India.
Chadha has almost 38 years’ experience across leading automotive companies and brings to these roles broad industry expertise and a passion for innovation.
He will be looked upon to guide ZF into its next chapter of growth in India.
He succeeds P Kaniappan, who retired on 30 June 2025, after a 42-year career, and whose visionary leadership leaves ZF with lasting legacy.
ZF has been operating in India for six decades and operates through 14 entities, including with a joint venture partner.
It employs 16,000 staff at 18 manufacturing sites and 10 engineering centres throughout India.
