UK-based fleet, Yusen Logistics, has taken delivery of 30 Schmitz Cargobull semi-trailers to support a major automotive contract.
The S.CS FREEPOST semi-trailers were built in Manchester and will be used to move axles, engines and wheels in Burnaston, Derby.
Yusen Logistics UK Fleet Manager, Andy Davis, praised the semi-trailers’ build quality and innovative design, highlighting the galvanised chassis, reinforced anti-theft curtains and modular bolted construction for durability and resale value.
The semi-trailers feature 3,150mm side apertures, uprated 9.5-tonne floors, Nexus Sliding Couplings and a secure strapping system for safe pallet transport.
All units come with a year of complimentary TrailerConnect telematics and Schmitz Cargobull’s Electronic Brake Performance Management System, enhancing road safety and reducing maintenance costs.
The deal was facilitated by Schmitz Cargobull UK & Ireland’s Mark Smith.
