Logistics and transport giant, Toll Group, has completed its acquisition of Transolve Global (Transolve), an Australia-based specialist in international freight forwarding of wine, bulk liquids and perishables.
Transolve now officially joins the Toll Global Forwarding division, integrated as a separate brand to ensure continuity of its existing clients.
Leveraging Transolve’s expertise in handling specialised commodities such as wines, bulk liquids, and perishables, the acquisition strengthens Toll Group’s ability to deliver logistics solutions to an expanded global customer base.
Transolve Global customers will be able to leverage TGF’s international network and expertise, as well as access an expanded suite of business solutions.
Transolve CEO, Rachael Budd, will now lead the newly established business unit within Toll Global Forwarding, taking on the title of Senior Vice President, Transolve.
Budd’s role will see her leverage her leadership and industry expertise in advancing the company’s commitment to delivering greater value to customers across various markets.
TGF is one of five operating divisions in Toll Group – the others being Asia Logistics, Government & Defence (Australia), Resources & Industrials (Australia), and Retail & Consumer (Australia).
The Toll Group has more than 14,000 team members across 500 sites worldwide and operates a forwarding network spanning 150 countries to support more than 20,000 customers.
