Trailer leasing and equipment provider, TIP Group, has appointed Oliver Bange as its new Chief Commercial Officer.
Bange announced the appointment in a statement, following 11 years as Vice President Central Europe, where he worked closely with customers, partners and teams across the region.
Reflecting on the move, Bange said the role is the beginning of a new chapter in his career with TIP Group.
“After a great period over the last 11 years as VP Central Europe, where I have been working closely with our teams, customers and partners across the region and successfully navigated through the usual and unusual ups and downs together, it is now time for a new chapter,” he said.
“It’s been a meaningful journey, one I’m very grateful for. Along the way, we’ve built strong relationships that will form the foundation for our continued collaboration.”
In his new position, Bange will be responsible for overseeing TIP Group’s commercial activities across a broader geographic footprint while maintaining a strong customer focus.
“What I’m most looking forward to now is staying close to our customers, but on a broader scale,” he said.
“Connecting what we do across markets and continuing to evolve how we support them every day and how to make our customers and TIP even more successful.”
As part of a transition period, Bange will continue to oversee the German business while taking on his new responsibilities.
The role will also see equipment sourcing added to his portfolio, strengthening the connection between TIP Group’s commercial strategy and asset availability. According to Bange, this responsibility will build on the company’s established relationships with trailer and equipment manufacturers across Europe.
“In my new role as CCO, equipment sourcing will also fall under my responsibility, building upon strong relationships with the European OEMs and further strengthening the link between commercial strategy and asset availability,” he said.
Bange also acknowledged the contribution of TIP Group’s Central Europe team, thanking colleagues for their support and collaboration throughout his tenure in the region.
“A big thank you to everyone in the Central Region,” he said. “I truly value working with you and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together. I am looking forward to continuing to work closely with you in my new role.”
The appointment comes as TIP Group continues to expand its commercial capabilities and strengthen relationships with customers and equipment manufacturers across Europe.
