Refrigerated transport equipment specialist, Thermo King, has revealed its latest innovation in partnership with container manufacturer, Klinge.
The companies aim to showcase the Magnum Eco at Intermodal Europe 2025.
The event is being held at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Spain, later this month – 21-23 October 2025.
Built on the Magnum Plus platform, the Magnum Eco is reported to deliver lower energy use, reduced maintenance and enhanced efficiency through a new evaporator, advanced compressor and electronic expansion valve.
It is also ready for next-generation refrigerants such as R-1234yf, aligning with evolving environmental regulations.
“Sustainability, safety and efficiency are driving industry change,” said Thermo King EMEA President, Claudio Zanframundo.
“Our focus is on reducing environmental impact while maintaining optimal cargo protection.”
The partnership with Klinge expands Thermo King’s reach across industries from food and pharma to chemicals and defence. The company also celebrates 60 years of genset innovation in 2025, with more than 100,000 units powering refrigerated containers worldwide.
Thermo King and Klinge will exhibit at Stand B40.
In other news, DP World, has agreed to develop and manage a multimodal logistics terminal near Uzbekistan’s capital, Tashkent.
