Stoughton Trailers has expanded its North American dealer network with the appointment of Sovereign Trailers.
The new dealership has been formed in partnership with Peach State Truck Centers, a major commercial vehicle retailer in the Southeast with more than 700 employees and 14 locations. Sovereign Trailers will represent Stoughton’s trailer range in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.
Peach State Truck Centers is an established distributor of Freightliner and Western Star Class 8 trucks, bringing decades of experience in commercial vehicle sales and support. Combined with Sovereign Trailers, the partnership delivers more than 50 years of industry expertise to the regional trailer market.
“We are thrilled to add the team at Sovereign to our dealer network,” said Derrick Washington, Vice President of Sales for Stoughton Trailers. “Peach State is highly regarded in the region for its industry knowledge and service, and we are confident this new venture will deliver strong value for fleet customers.”
Rick Reynolds, President of Peach State Truck Centers, said the move reflects the company’s long-term growth strategy. “The launch of Sovereign Trailers and our partnership with Stoughton Trailers extends the same standard of service, expertise and customer relationships that have defined us for decades into the trailer business.”
Sovereign Trailers will stock Stoughton dry van and refrigerated trailers at facilities in Jefferson and Villa Rica, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama. Trailer sales, parts and service support will also be available across Peach State’s broader Southeast network.
