Schmitz Cargobull teases IAA Transportation lineup

Schmitz Cargobull will showcase an expanded range of trailers, refrigeration technology, digital services and fleet management solutions at IAA Transportation 2026, marking its debut at Pavilion 33.

Under the theme ‘Experience More.Value.’, the OEM said its latest products and services are designed to help transport operators improve fleet performance while reducing total cost of ownership.

Ahead of the show, Schmitz Cargobull used its pre-press conference at its Vreden box trailer production facility to preview a broad portfolio of innovations spanning refrigerated transport, dry freight, container chassis, urban distribution, lightweight trailers and digital fleet management.

In refrigerated transport, the OEM will highlight the S.KO COOL refrigerated semi-trailer paired with its new S.CU dc90 refrigeration unit, alongside the new S.CU mt-DualEvap multi-temperature system. Schmitz Cargobull says the developments reinforce its position as a complete system supplier for temperature-controlled transport.

The dry freight range includes the new S.BO MULTI and the S.BO PACE+ featuring FERROSTRUKT technology, developed for parcel logistics applications. New container transport solutions include the S.CF ALLROUND 20-45 chassis, while urban distribution products developed with GT Trailers include the S.BO CITY dry freight trailer and S.CS CITY semi-curtainsider.

For inner-city food distribution, the S.KO CITY incorporates multi-temperature technology aimed at improving operational flexibility. The company is also continuing its lightweight trailer programme with BERGER Fahrzeugtechnik, introducing the PerformanceEco LTOe curtainsider for electric tractor applications and a new generation of lightweight trailers. Completing the line-up is the heavy-duty S.CS MEGA X-TOUGH, designed to combine high payload capacity with maximum load volume.

In the construction segment, Schmitz Cargobull will present a new aluminium body for its S.KI LIGHT tipper, developed to improve durability while reducing maintenance requirements.

Digitalisation remains a key focus, with the company showcasing its Cargobull Operating System, Cargobull Trailer Diagnostics software and MyCargobull customer portal. These are complemented by an expanded Mobile Van Service, providing maintenance, repair and technical support directly at customer locations.

Schmitz Cargobull said its integrated approach combines vehicles, digital technology and aftersales services to support operators throughout the trailer lifecycle, from initial investment through to recycling.
