Schmitz Cargobull has restructured chief personnel in its Central Europe sales region, effective from 1 January 2026.
The OEM’s Country Manager for Serbia and Montenegro, Vujo Crnomarkovic, has also assumed the role of Sales Director Central Europe in addition to his existing country manager role.
Crnomarkovic will also assume sales responsibility for Greece.
With more than 20 years’ experience within the Schmitz Cargobull organisation and his profound knowledge of the market, Crnomarkovic is recognised by Schmitz Cargobull as possessing the ideal qualifications to successfully develop the Central Europe sales region.
Roland W. Schacht, who was Sales Director for the Central Europe region and Country Manager for Romania and Greece, left the company at his own request on 31 December 2025.
As part of the changes to the Central Europe division, Constantin Victor Burcioi has been appointed as the Country Manager for Romania.
Burcioi has been with Schmitz Cargobull since 2005 and has successfully organised sales activities for new and used vehicles in Romania and Moldova since 2014.
With his extensive market expertise, he will continue to drive forward customer proximity and activities in Romania.

In addition to his role as Country Manager of Schmitz Cargobull Türkiye, Kerem Tas, will also be responsible for the plant in Adapazari within the international Schmitz Cargobull production network.
He has been reporting directly to Ralph Kleideiter, Chief Sales Officer, since January.
With more than 30 years of international industry experience, Kerem Tas has successfully developed the Schmitz Cargobull Türkiye production and sales location over the past six years.
