German transport company Scheck, an expanding logistics and transport company, has taken delivery of 35 new Kögel Mega semi-trailers.
According to Kögel, the new trailers feature a usable internal height of three metres and will be used to service the automotive industry on a just-in-time basis.
“Loading and unloading of three stacked pallet cages is simple, thanks to the standard mechanical/hydraulic lifting roof,” Kögel said. “This roof-lifting equipment has a traverse of 500 millimetres and increases the lateral loading height to three metres. Furthermore, the Mega model has no straps hanging down into the loading area when the roof is open, because the straps are integrated into the roof tarpaulin. This entirely eliminates straps snagging on the load.”
