Equipment specialist, SAF-Holland, is introducing lighter-weight aluminium rims to the European market.
These rims are reported to be easier to maintain, will boost heavy vehicle efficiency and ensure better fleet presentation.
Exclusively available from SAF-Holland, the aluminium rims feature patented technology from ALEXRIMS, a Taiwanese company under the Alex Global Group.
By dissipating heat faster than conventional steel rims, the new rims, according to SAF-Holland, reduce unsprung mass, resulting in better vehicle dynamics and more than a 3.0 per cent fuel saving.
SAF-Holland said the rims are high-gloss polished yet durable and easy to maintain, undergoing a 1,000-hour corrosion test before going out into the market to ensure a high quality product.
SAF-Holland also supplies the corresponding accessories from ALEXRIMS such as specialty sleeve nuts and valves for numerous rim configurations.
