Portugal-based logistics operator Luis Simões has added 70 new Lecitrailer semi-trailers to its fleet this year.
The fleet additions include various types of semi-trailers, reaffirming its confidence in Lecitrailer’s products and its commitment to modern, efficient, and sustainable logistics.
With this significant expansion, Luís Simões strengthens its operational capacity and consolidates its position as one of the leading transport and logistics companies in the Iberian Peninsula.
The semi-trailers delivered by Spain-based OEM, Lecitrailer have been custom-configured to meet the Portugal-based company’s different transport needs, incorporating advanced technical solutions that meet the operator’s high operational standards.
The units are specially configured for transporting paper rolls, which include a reinforced floor and maximum sealing to ensure the integrity of the load.
In addition, some of the vehicles are designed to form Euro-modular duo-trailer assemblies, incorporating Lecitrailer’s 2-axle dollies, enabling greater transport efficiency and a significant reduction in CO₂e emissions.

All delivered trailers also incorporate the most comprehensive and representative equipment from the Luis Simões fleet, including:
- Aluminium wheels to reduce weight and improve energy efficiency;
- High-capacity stainless steel drawers;
- Strap 2 Go cargo securing system, which improves load securing security;
- Advanced safety systems, designed to protect both the driver and the environment.
Luís Simões is a leading logistics operator, a market leader in freight flows between Portugal and Spain.
It manages a fleet of 1,148 approved vehicles (owned and subcontracted) and has more than 2,500 direct collaborators. It provides integrated logistics services in 25 warehouses, with more than 400,000 m2, in 10 different regions of the Iberian Peninsula.
