After Wabash National purchased Beall’s entire tank manufacturing assets and properties, tanker specialist Polar has now taken over Beall’s aftermarket parts and service division.
Based in Portland, Beall filed for bankruptcy protection last September and was sold off in pieces at a bankruptcy auction last month.
According to Ted Fick, president and CEO of Polar, Beall’s branch locations align well with the company’s service centres and its independent dealers, especially in the Western United States.
“With stable financial footing, these former Beall branches will have more flexibility to deliver the high-quality service that Beall customers have come to appreciate over the years,” he said.
“Meanwhile, Polar customers will benefit from the high level of competency and experience of Beall technicians. Their expertise is exceptional within the commercial tank industry and we’re excited to bring them into the Polar family.”
