Alabama-headquartered trailer builder, Pitts Trailers, has appointed a new Supply Chain Manager from within its own ranks, with Taylor Chambers transitioning into the role.
The trailer OEM said that since joining the company nearly two years ago, Chambers has demonstrated exceptional dedication to understanding every facet of the business while supporting Pitts Trailers’ ongoing Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
In his new position of Supply Chain Manager, Chambers will oversee key areas of the supply chain, focusing on strategic planning, vendor relationships and improving material flow to support production efficiency.
His strong foundation in process optimisation and cross-department collaboration has already proven invaluable in strengthening operations across the organization, Pitts said.
“Taylor’s enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement have made a tremendous impact,” said Pitts Trailers President, JP Pierson.
“We are excited to see him excel in this expanded role and continue driving our momentum forward.”
Pitts Trailers said the appointment of Chambers to the role was a well-earned advancement and it looks forward to his continued leadership within the company.
