North Carolina-based commercial vehicle maintenance company, Noregon has appointed Bill A. Hathaway as its new CEO, effective 3 April 2025.
Hathaway has been part of Noregon’s leadership team since 2018 and in his most recent role as Chief Revenue Officer, he oversaw the organisation’s sales, marketing and product management efforts.
“I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve Noregon and its leadership team,” said Hathaway.
“I have so much respect for this organisation and the role it plays in keeping vehicles and equipment operating safely.
“I look forward to building upon Noregon’s incredible foundation and leading the business into the future.”
Noregon develops software, hardware, and technology for the maintenance, service, and upkeep of commercial vehicles and heavy duty equipment. Hearst acquired a majority stake in the organisation in 2021.
Noregon Executive Chairman, Bill G. Hathaway, said it was an honour to appoint Hathaway.
“No one better understands Noregon’s vision, long-term goals and what is required to achieve them,” said Bill G. Hathaway.
“Bill has been an integral part of Noregon’s growth, and I look forward to even greater success under his leadership,”
Hearst President and CEO, Steven Swartz, said: “Bill A. Hathaway has an extraordinary grasp of Noregon’s business, and he has proven himself in every role he has taken on at the company.
“My Hearst colleagues and I congratulate him on this promotion and look forward to this new leadership partnership between Bill A. and Noregon’s founder and Executive Chairman, Bill G. Hathaway.”
Hathaway joined Noregon in 2016, where he developed and led the content management group. He quickly rose through the organisation and led the restructuring of Noregon’s sales strategies and oversaw the national accounts sales team. He played an integral role in the launch of many Noregon products and services.
“Bill’s experience working with industry leaders is a major asset to Noregon and our long-term vision,” said Bill G. Hathaway.
“Bill developed strong relationships with customers and partners while serving in his sales leadership role, and we look forward to growing those relationships while developing new ones under his direction.”
