Transportes El Mosca, part of European logistics giant Logista, has received its first Lean & Green Star after achieving a 20 per cent reduction in its carbon footprint between 2019 and 2024.
The recognition, awarded by AECOC, highlights the company’s commitment to sustainable logistics and decarbonisation.
The award was formally presented on 19 November 2025 at Madrid’s Hotel Beatriz during an event celebrating companies that have reached significant milestones in the Lean & Green initiative.
The platform, which now spans 14 countries and includes over 600 European companies, helps logistics operators reduce greenhouse gas emissions, share best practices and track measurable sustainability goals.
Logista, one of Europe’s largest logistics operators, continues to strengthen its sustainability and social inclusion efforts.
Transportes El Mosca’s achievement underlines Logista’s wider strategy to decarbonise its transport operations while maintaining efficiency and service across its extensive European network.
Earlier this month, Logista reported solid financial results for FY25, with economic sales of €1,809 million, up 3.0 per cent from 2024, and total revenues of €13,536 million, a 4.2 per cent increase, driven by strong performance in Iberia and Italy.
Adjusted EBIT declined slightly to €378 million, while net profit fell 8.8 per cent to €281 million due to lower financial income from reduced interest rates.
Profit from changes in inventory value rose to €45 million, reflecting higher taxes and tobacco prices in Spain, Italy, and France.
Regionally, Iberia and Italy saw revenue and sales growth, while France experienced declines.
Logista CEO, Iñigo Meirás, highlighted a focus on organic and inorganic growth and maintaining a stable dividend, with mid-single-digit adjusted EBIT growth and a similar dividend expected in 2026.
