Librelato, one of the three largest manufacturers of road implements in Brazil, inaugurated a new Libreparts Box in the city of Rio Grande on 30 January.
The sales point, operated by Rodokurtz , the brand’s representative in the region, is located on BR-392, km 10, Barra neighborhood, in a strategic area for heavy transport, near the Port of Rio Grande and important logistics corridors in the state.
Librelato Commercial and Marketing Director, João Librelato, said the opening reinforces the company’s strategy of expanding access to original parts in regions with a high concentration of logistics operations.
He emphasised that the Port of Rio Grande — responsible for exporting more than 30 per cent all goods produced in Rio Grande do Sul, and the only maritime port in the state with long-distance navigation capacity, — makes the city an essential hub for heavy transport.
“Librelato has been directing its investments towards being increasingly closer to transporters, offering solutions that guarantee availability, agility, and reliability in after -sales service,” he said.
“Being in Rio Grande, connected to the port and the main logistics corridors, strengthens our presence in a strategic market with great growth potential.”
The Libreparts Box is a point-of-sale concept developed by Librelato to quickly and efficiently meet the demands of the replacement parts market for road implements.
Unlike a traditional Libreparts store, which has a larger structure and a complete portfolio, the Libreparts Box has a compact format and focuses on high-turnover items, and is strategically located, allowing for quick purchases, prompt delivery and frequent restocking directly from the headquarters.
The model was designed especially for regions with high truck traffic, where the immediate availability of parts is essential for the continuity of operations.

The choice of Rio Grande as the location for the new Libreparts Box is related to the city’s logistical profile. The new sales point was installed next to a gas station with a high volume of heavy vehicles and close to the yards of more than ten transport companies, facilitating customer access.
For Diego Kurtz, Commercial Director of Rodokurtz , the project represents an important step forward in the supply of parts for the regional market.
He explained that the presence of the Libreparts Box in Rio Grande was only possible thanks to Rodokurtz ‘s role as Librelato’s representative in the region.
Rodokurtz prides itself on providing excellent service to local transporters and identified the need to expand support to those passing through the Port of Rio Grande, one of the main cargo outflow points in the state.
“Therefore, we inaugurated the Libreparts Box with a differentiated project for the region, offering close and personalized service, high quality products, and an optimized inventory, replenished daily by the headquarters,” he said.
The operation will initially have two professionals dedicated to customer service, with expectations of expanding inventory and staff during the first year of operation, keeping pace with the growth in local demand.
The Libreparts Box has also begun working in an integrated manner with the Librelato dealership in Pelotas, supporting the work of the heavy vehicle salesperson and increasing efficiency in serving customers in the region.
João Librelato emphasized the importance of the initiative for the brand’s positioning, highlighting that the Libreparts Box in Rio Grande is the 10th installed by Librelato throughout the country.
The company is expanding a model that has already proven highly efficient in the market and complementing the performance of Libreparts stores.
“It’s an initiative that strengthens Librelato’s after sales service, generates value for our partners, and directly contributes to the productivity of transporters,” he said.
