Krone Trailer is cementing its role as a major stakeholder in intermodal transport with its latest trailer delivery.
The trailer OEM has delivered 10 Mega Liner trailers to Hans Fischer Transport GmbH, based in Weilheim an der Teck, in southern Germany, which will assist the logistics company’s transport and warehousing services.
The Mega Liners feature an external height of four metres with an internal height of three metres, enabling Hans Fischer to maximise deliveries, while enhancing economic and sustainability benefits.
The Mega Liners also feature Krone’s tried-and-tested, highly stable 50-series neck.
Fittingly, the trailers were delivered by rail, highlighting the company’s proactive stance to prioritising climate protection, sustainability, flexibility and quality.
Krone Trailer sees its trailer products as adopting a holistic view of the logistics process chain, by offering maximum reliability and ensuring quality within the supply chain.
For its own operations, Hans Fischer Transport GmbH sees transport as part of a complex process chain. Accordingly, it requires equipment that remains flexible in day-to-day operations and performs reliably to operate in its warehouse logistics, freight forwarding, fulfilment, and other core business endeavours.
