German trailer brand Kässbohrer presented a new manure tanker model at the Agritechnica exhibition in Germany.
The new K.STN was designed to minimize environmental risks when transporting manure to plantations and renewable energy power plants.
“Taking into account the bio hazardous manure gases, K.STN’s filling and discharge systems and pneumatically operated manure level control unit enable the operators to avoid exposure to contaminated particles,” said Kässbohrer.
“The pressure relief valves enable [the operator] to control the manure gas pressure, which is the result of the natural breakdown of the manure.”
The K.STN can boast a stainless steel body and robust galvanized chassis, bringing the empty weight to 6.250 kg. It is also equipped with steering axles to ensure maximum mobility in the toughest working conditions.
