Kässbohrer will showcase prime examples of its ‘Enginuity’ (Engineering and Ingenuity) at the Transport Logistics 2025 fair in Munich, between 2-5 June 2025.
The range of Kässbohrer commercial transport vehicles on display will include general cargo to bulk and liquid goods transporters, as well as intermodal, heavy and abnormal goods carriers.
A feature of its fleet display will be the company’s adherence to lower emissions and sustainable transport.
To be showcased in a 360-degree portfolio will be Kässbohrer’s longer and higher capacity (SEC) curtainsider, box, container chassis combinations, its award-winning light-weight intermodal product range and its electrified cold chain vehicles.
A highlight will be the award winning Kässbohrer Octagon-on central frame chassis design, which won a Trailer Innovation award, in the Chassis category.
From April 2024 the Octagon-on central frame has been standardised in the complete range of Kässbohrer’s extendable container chassis, as well its standard and lightest fixed-gooseneck container chassis.
Approved at Kässbohrer R&D centres for 1million km of normal life after completing extensive robustness and life cycle testing, the Kässbohrer container chassis provides ideal load distribution and operational ease.
Kässbohrer will showcase its multi-functional, front-middle and rear extendable octagon-on container chassis, demonstrating how it can carry a full range of containers from 20′ to 45′ HC, as well as 13,600mm cargo box and 45′ swap body.
The multi-functional extendable container chassis provides the best traction and weight distribution performance even carrying 20′ containers at the rear.
Kässbohrer will also present Europe’s lightest 20ft tank container chassis, which is manufactured with S 700 MC steel.
With a robust chassis KTL coated for longer life, the Kässbohrer 20 ft tank container chassis presents 3,250 kg tare weight.
The K. SFH T features four container locks, while the K.SHF.T 20 enables safe and efficient transport of 20′ tank containers and up to 7.82 swap tank containers.
Kässbohrer’s next generation electrified K.SRI E reefer is equipped with BPW and Thermo King refrigeration units for optimal temperature-controlled transportation, as well as reduced emissions.
The electrified reefer features Kässbohrer insulation with a 0.31 K value GRP panel and advanced air circulation.
The e-Reefer technology enables fuel savings of up to 4,000 litres annually, reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 10 tonnes—over 50 per cent more efficient than other electrified reefers.
Kässbohrer is making a big push into the electric trailer market, utilising the EU-funded ZEFES (zero emissions) project.
It is developing the e-curtainsider powered by a ZF recuperation axle system that provides traction support for both combustion engines and electric trucks.
Kässbohrer will host the second K-Expert talk titled ‘Towards Zero Emissions: Electrification Update’, with experts from ZEFES, on 3 June 2025 at Transport Logistic.
Kässbohrer will be at Hall A6, Stand 323/424 for Transport Logistic 2025.
