This month, trailer manufacturer, Kässbohrer, reached a significant milestone in its recent history, delivery over 1 million spare parts.
With its latest delivery, Kässbohrer has recorded 1,050,001 spare parts sent from its Goch plant warehouse to Karl Mossandl, Kässbohrer’s long-standing Germany sales and after-sales partner, based in Dingolfing.
Established in 1961 and based in Bavaria, Karl Mossandl GmbH & Co. KG delivers spare parts supply and technical service through a regional network, operating in trailer logistics and transport services.
The one million-plus spare parts milestone came to light after the company recorded such data since 2016, which indicated 54 different countries have been served by the Goch spare parts service centre.
The Goch spare parts facility had undergone extensive refurbishment in 2021, expanding to 2,160 square metres to accommodate the growing need for spare parts in the industry.
Kässbohrer utilised its Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC), in service since 2009, to register the milestone delivery.
With EPC, which catalogues 50,000 unique parts, Kässbohrer’s customers can identify, choose, and order the spare parts they need from the complete Kässbohrer product range.
A team of seven members at the Goch facility fulfills spare parts needs with a 24-hour dispatch guarantee and a 95 per cent fast-moving capability and 90 per cent spare parts availability.
The 5,600 different types of spare parts physically housed at the Goch facility include original Kässbohrer spare parts and parts sourced through Kässbohrer’s system partners and leading suppliers.
Kässbohrer operates 574 service points across Europe as part of its after sales network.
In addition to the manufacturer’s service centres in Goch, Ulm and Blonie, 354 service points are equipped to fully repair all damaged bodies.
All original components and consumables, including parts obtained from its system partners and suppliers, are dispatched within 24 hours from Kässbohrer’s warehouses in Goch, Ulm, Lyon and Błonie.
Kässbohrer also offers a road assistance service across 41 countries, across 12 languages.
