Trailer builder, Kässbohrer, has delivered an extendable 4-axle jumbo low-bed semi-trailer with wheel recesses (model K.SLA RJ 4) to Engtra Transporte.
Family-run logistics company, Engtra Transporte GmbH, headquartered in Bramsche-Engter Germany, operates internationally, offering expert services in heavy-duty and special transport, and trade fair/event logistics.
It specialises in general cargo, individual and special transport, and trade fair logistics.

Thorsten Warzecha said that with a tare weight starting at 11,800 kg, a 770 mm platform height, and wheel recesses that reduce loading height by 425 mm to 345 mm, the 4-axle lowbed enables efficient transport without special permits.
He added that greater flexibility was obtained from the semi-trailer’s extendable chassis that enables transport of loads up to 12.740 mm meters with 500mm incremental extensions.
Therefore, the reduced loading height, combined with 105 mm of extra clearance, makes the vehicle well-suited for the safe and stable transport of tall machinery.
The delivered trailer is part of Kässbohrer’s K.SLA series, which is available in three to six axle configurations and is engineered for superior heavy-duty performance.
Equipped with an extendable chassis and a 3-step side extension system, the series accommodates a wide range of load dimensions and offers over 40 ramp configurations.
It also provides up to 32 lashing rings with capacities of 5, 6, 8, 10, or 13.4 tonnes, together with integrated container locks, and vertical and horizontal pillar pockets for flexibility, durability, and safety.
