KAG Canada has acquired Quebec-based Groupe Sylvain Simard.
The company specialises in the transportation of aggregates, chemicals, along with cement and aluminium dross throughout eastern Canada.
“Acquiring Groupe Sylvain Simard will allow our footprint to expand in Quebec and continue to diversify our commodities in the East,” said KAG Canada’s EVP of operations, Lynette McMann. “We are looking forward to welcoming our new team members to the KAG Canada team. This acquisition is accompanied by their team of professional drivers, mechanics and office staff along with their hauling equipment.”
Groupe Sylvain Simard was founded by in 2004 by brothers Sylvain and Marc. Both will be staying on with the company in the acquisition by Les Distributions Carl Beaulac, under KAG Canada, and will work with Carl Beaulac, Vanessa Beaulac and the KAG Canada team.
