This acquisition is reported to mark a major milestone in the growth journey of JOST as it strengthens its position as a leading supplier of on-highway and off-highway solutions in the commercial road transport industry.
JOST is a producer of safety-critical systems for commercial vehicles, while Hyva is a renowned global technology leader in hydraulics.
Hyva produces front-end tipping cylinders and supplies a range of double acting cylinders, container lifting systems (hookloaders and skiploaders), waste handling solutions (refuse collection bodies and compactors) and truck-mounted cranes.
Founded in 1979 and headquartered in the Netherlands, Hyva operates in more than 110 countries with over 3,000 employees and 14 production facilities in Brazil, China, Germany, India, Italy and Mexico.
