Hyva, part of JOST World, has announced a major expansion of its presence in South America with the opening of a new hydraulics factory in Caxias do Sul, in southern Brazil.
The state-of-the-art Hyva facility is a clear signal of “our long-term commitment to the Brazilian market and our ambition to further strengthen our position in the off-highway sector”, Hyva said.
With 17,000 m² of cutting-edge infrastructure, Hyva said it was not just increasing capacity, but “delivering best-in-class production driven by a highly passionate and skilled local team”.
“By combining our global engineering expertise with local roots, we ensure that our customers in agriculture, construction, and transport receive the most reliable, high-performance solutions,” Hyva said in a LinkedIn post.
JOST World CEO, Joachim Dürr, was present for the official launch of the site, together with Hyva CEO of APAC Region, Alex Tan; Hyva South America Vice President, Rogério Luis de Antoni; other executives and guests.
“This investment at this location is a dedication to the commercial industry in general and a dedication to Brazil, a country which I believe, with the structure you have, the size of the country, the population, the energy, that this has a very good future in front of it,” said Joachim Dürr.
Attendees at the gala launch heard that the facility will have an annual production capacity of 52,000 hydraulic cylinders, 40,000 hydraulic kits and 1,500 mobile floor systems.
Some of the features of the hydraulics factory include:
- Dedicated off-highway support: Tailored solutions for the toughest environments, from mining to large-scale farming.
- Operational excellence: Optimised logistics and advanced automation to ensure speed and quality.
- Sustainability: 100 per cent LED lighting and rainwater reuse, reflecting the JOST World values.
