At leading Austrian commercial vehicle light manufacturer, Aspöck Systems, safety, innovation and design go hand in hand. Aspöck is taking the most important aspects of road traffic usage to an important and often life-saving height – visibility.
About Aspöck
The Aspöck Group has been an international partner to the automotive industry since 2006. Its goal is to combine modern LED technologies with attractive design, high safety and resource conservation.
Aspöck Systems was founded in 1977 and today, the company develops, simulates and manufactures forward-looking lighting and system solutions for vehicles at five locations. These are complemented by its eight sales offices that ensure strong international and domestic sales and service networks.
With a market share of 65 per cent in the European car and truck trailer market and an export quota of 94 per cent, Aspöck lighting systems can be found almost everywhere on Europe’s roads.
An extensive product portfolio has been developed for the trailer, semi-trailer and body segments, automotive and two-wheeler industries, agricultural and construction sectors, special OEMs and linear LED technologies.
Aspöck is an innovative Austria-based industrial company with clear values, operating responsibly, conserving resources and continuously improving itself to protect the ecosystem.

This sustainable and environmentally aware approach sees projects for component optimisation, sustainable material and tool concepts and in-house recycling of plastics are being implemented step by step.
Plastic is the main material used in Aspöck’s manufacturing, creating intelligent and efficient lighting systems in lightweight construction and thus contributing to climate change mitigation.
Thanks to Aspöck’s innovative approach to commercial vehicle lighting, bio-based and biodegradable plastics are no longer a vision of the future but will soon be reality.
In terms of function and design, customer requirements can be implemented with virtually no limitations.
Aspöck therefore sees there being few competing foundations for the perfect lighting system.
Aspöck at SOLUTRANS
Together with Aspöck France, the global lighting and system solutions provider was excited to welcome guests to its stand at SOLUTRANS in Lyon, from 18-22 November 2025, located at Stand C029/Hall 3, where it presented its top innovations – FlexLED ECE, TPMS and RADC 2.0 – winners of the International Trailer Awards in the safety category.
FlexLED ECE – Proudly made in Austria
FlexLED ECE strips are used as patented, compact multifunctional and side marker trailer lights, and for interior lighting.
Aspöck began designing and making linear LED lighting in 2018, constantly testing, developing and refining the product. Since January 2025, Aspöck’s linear LED technologies have been made on segment and in continuous production lines at its second Austrian production site in Waizenkirchen.
Aspöck’s strips impress the transport sector with their modern design, easy installation and compliance with the highest UN-ECE R10 and R148 safety standards.
They also meet all regulatory requirements of the countries and territories in which they are sold, including the beam angle of light and electromagnetic compatibility. Light measurements are carried out exclusively in the Aspöck Group’s own test laboratories.
In addition, Aspöck’s long-standing partners support with EMC testing, ensuring homologation of the lighting functions.
FlexLED ECE stands out due to its slim, symmetrical design, displayable in flashing, position, brake and a white work light format.
Due to its compact design and integrated diffuser technology, it also offers excellent visibility and thus increased safety, and is easy and user-friendly to install, such as with a suitable aluminium profile.
The FlexLED ECE has a minimalist cable design with single-sided cable outlet for all functions, making installation very convenient as a plug-and-play solution.
FlexLED strips are available in three sizes and with the highest IP6K9K protection class rating are flexible, robust, UV-resistant and food-safe. They are perfect for trucks, cars, construction machinery, emergency vehicles, agricultural vehicles and caravans.
The Kelvin strips’ white light in particular provides clear, even illumination with reduced glare – ideal for professional applications.

Aspöck attaches great importance to environmental friendliness in its operations, resulting in its use of state-of-the-art LED technologies and sustainable plastics facilitating the production of resource-saving, lightweight lighting systems.
In addition, bio-based and biodegradable plastics are already in development to further minimise the ecological footprint.
With these innovative solutions, Aspöck is actively contributing to climate change and offering customers almost limitless design options in terms of function and design.
Aspöck TPMS
Another highlight of the Aspöck stand at SOLUTRANS 2025, will be the Aspöck TPMS tyre pressure monitoring system and the RADC 2.0-wheel distance control (ramp start assist).
Aspöck TPMS not only reduces the risk of accidents, but it also extends tyre life and significantly minimises fuel costs and CO2 emissions.
TPMS has been mandatory in original equipment for vehicle classes O3 and O4 since July 2024 and monitoring tyre pressure allows operators to get the most out of their fleets with the pressure check carried out by a communicative group of sensors.
From individual initial programming, using a hand tool, to automatic learning of new sensors via the Auto Locate function during retrofitting or repairs, the TPMS is quick and easy to install.
Importantly, the monitoring system is compatible with EBS systems of all well-known manufacturers -a major logistical advantage for vehicle manufacturers.
With its expertise, Aspöck implements individual cabling solutions that are custom-made to customer requirements, and its robust safety system complies with UN ECE-R 141 and meets the European General Safety Regulation (GSR).
RADC 2.0
Aspöck’s RADC 2.0 assists the driver when reversing a truck with a trailer, in that the radar sensor enables smooth docking at the loading ramp.
This is because the sensor optimally covers the large, blind area at the rear of the trailer with its 180-degree field of view detection.
As part of its protective function, it transmits acoustic, optical and haptic information to the driver and their surroundings and equipped with a new type of integrated cross-traffic detection, it detects dynamic objects in an extended detection range.
The precise measurement with cross-traffic detection of the RADC 2.0 is a simple plug-and-play solution with CAN communication that also allows for distance shifting and is compatible with all leading EBS brands.
The installation of an Aspöck distance monitoring system pays for itself as it largely reduces or even prevents rear collision damage. This is reiterated by its recent second place in the safety category of the International Trailer Awards.
