German automotive parts supplier Hella is expanding its global trading network. With the foundation of the new sales company “Hella Middle East FZE” in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai, the company has created a new basis for future growth in the whole Gulf region.
The focus is on supplying the Independent Aftermarket as well as selling Original Equipment products to manufacturers of special vehicles. Alongside classic lighting, electric and electronic products from Hella; the product portfolio also includes thermal management products from Behr Hella Service. Goods availability is secured through a warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in cooperation with the logistics service provider Hellmann.
For Michael Hilmerich, Vice President Sales Overseas Aftermarket & Special OE, the founding of Hella Middle East FZE is a further part of Hella's growth strategy in the Aftermarket & Special OE business. “The markets in the Gulf region play an important part in our future business development,” he emphasised.
“The conditions are good, because our products already enjoy an excellent reputation in the region thanks to their quality. With a broader range of products and a new logistics concept we are going to further increase the performance spectrum, delivery service and product availability of our range, as well as offer our customers effective sales support measures in the form of a fast and modern information and order system, for example, and through comprehensive technical and commercial services.”
