In the lead-up to the largest commercial vehicle show in the Southern Hemisphere, ITTES 2014, the Australian Road Transport Suppliers’ Association (ARSTA) will host Australia’s first-ever Global Truck Trailer Leaders Summit. The program for the event is now available online.
“The Global Truck Trailer Leaders Summit will welcome the industry's most influential voices to discuss pressing issues, with vivid presentations and panel discussions aimed to help grow and inform the commercial road transport industry,” ARTSA Chairman Dr Peter Hart told Global Trailer.
“The groundbreaking content will focus on industry issues education and business development opportunities. It will be the standout premium networking opportunity of the year with national and international business leaders participating.”
The program is split into six key sessions and two panel discussions, to be held on two days at Lifesaving Victoria, a venue overlooking Australia’s iconic beach waterfront in Australia’s major freight hub. Every session will include three presentations by internationally acclaimed speakers.
Next to the strong business/ leadership focus, the event will also include a dedicated Parts Forum – a first on the international truck convention calendar.
“It's the perfect mix of global content and local insight,” said Dr Peter Hart, revealing that the first day will finish with a Gala Dinner to maximise networking opportunities. “I believe the unique mixture of fleet owners, Australian and international executives has all the potential to set a new standard in the international business world.”
