Heavy transport expert Egyptian Transportation & Logistics (ETAL) has recently been tasked with carting a range of 38m steel beams from the Arabco Shipyard in Ismailia to the city of Alexandria.
Each 35-tonne beam had to travel a distance of 420km and will eventually be used for the construction of a bridge as part of a new freeway connecting Cairo and Alexandria.
ETAL used Faymonville’s TeleMAX flat bed model to meet the challenge, as its extending loading platform was specially designed transport of particularly long or bulky loads in rough environments.
“Its lightweight design and great steering angle guarantee optimum maneuverability with the highest possible payload. The TeleMAX therefore fulfills all conditions for the time-efficient and cost-effective transportation of long or bulky items,” Faymonville commented.
