German logistics firm, Elflein, has specified 76 Krone Mega Liner trailers featuring two-axle designs with 20 tonnes of aggregate power and a modern tyre refill system.
Elflein Managing Director – Marketing and Sales, Stefanie Kotschenreuther, said the cooperation with Krone has been reliable from the beginning.
“We are particularly pleased that we were able to organise the transfer of the vehicle in a sustainable manner, with environmentally friendly transport by train.”
Krone Trailer Managing Director – Sales and Marketing, Dr Frank Albers, also highlighted the delivery of the trailers by rail.
“A further step towards making logistics processes sustainable and resource-efficient,” he said.

Founded in 1932, the family-owned company Elflein now employs around 1,200 people and operates a fleet of 450 prime movers.
It specialises in the transport of automotive, food and paper products.
