DSV has named Brian Ejsing as CEO of its Road division while he continues in his current role as Group COO.
The appointment aims to strengthen execution of the company’s Road strategy as DSV continues the integration of Schenker and pursues its 2030 growth plans.
DSV Group CEO, Jens H. Lund, said Ejsing’s extensive experience across the business made him well placed to accelerate the division’s strategy.
Ejsing succeeds Helmut Schweighofer, who joined DSV following the completion of the Schenker acquisition and helped lead the early stages of the integration.
A DSV veteran since 1986, Ejsing has held a range of senior leadership positions, including 22 years in the Road division and CEO of Contract Logistics, before being appointed Group COO in 2024.
“The integration is on track and the strategy remains the same, but we need to strengthen commercial execution, increase efficiency and consolidate our network,” said Ejsing.
He added that despite challenging market conditions, DSV is well positioned to build on its leadership in the European road freight market while expanding its presence in other regions.
DSV Road operates more than 50,000 trucks daily across 55 countries, providing groupage, less-than-truckload (LTL), direct transport and intermodal freight services.
