At Transpotec 2026, JOST demonstrated how engineering expertise and innovation can address the challenges of today’s commercial vehicle industry, particularly through safety and sustainability.
From the automatic coupling system JOST KKS, which helps address driver shortages, to the Hyva ePowerbox100 for battery-electric trucks, the portfolio is designed to make hard work easier and safer for drivers and fleet operators alike.
A key highlight at this year’s Transpotec was the first joint stand of JOST and Hyva in Italy. Following the successful integration of Hyva into the JOST portfolio, the combined presence demonstrated the expanded product range: from coupling and axle systems to advanced hydraulic solutions for lifting and tipping applications. At the same time, customers benefit from a stronger network that delivers solutions tailored to their specific needs.
“We were excited to be back at Transpotec, one of Europe’s most important platforms for transport and logistics development,” said JOST Italia General Manager, Francesco Zucco.
“Our goal was to showcase how JOST innovations across our brands JOST, Hyva, TRIDEC and ROCKINGER support the transport industry in addressing key challenges such as driver assistance, sustainability, and efficiency.
“At the same time, we remain close to our customers, adapting our solutions to local conditions and individual requirements.”
Hyva Italy Country Manager, Gian Marco Fulgeri, said: “This marked our first joint exhibition under the JOST umbrella in Italy.
“We have fully integrated the Hyva and JOST range into one portfolio, coming together as one unified Italian organization to deliver a broader and more complete offering to the market.
“Together, we provide fully integrated solutions – from flexible hydraulic kits covering every application, to cylinders and hookloaders, up to advanced technologies like Hyva DTS – enabling greater efficiency, safety, and operational performance.”

On the outdoor area, JOST showcased live demonstrations of the KKS automatic coupling system.
The JOST KKS system was a highlight at Transpotec, as it facilitates faster, safer, more efficient manoeuvres by enabling drivers to couple and uncouple semi-trailers via remote control without leaving the driver’s cabin, automatically, safely and quickly.
The driver is guided through the entire coupling process, with sensor technology providing live information on the KKS remote control throughout every step of the process. Climbing out of the cabin to manually open the fifth wheel, cranking down the landing gear and manually connecting the spiral cable, air and brake connections are all a thing of the past for drivers. Time, comfort and safety gains are made possible with just one product.
With the KKS JOST aims to set new benchmarks for performance and reliability in the transportation industry.
Another JOST product featured at Transpotec was the electric landing gear Modul E-Drive that does away with manual cranking, while making trailer coupling and decoupling easier. Modul E-Drive is particularly useful when access to the landing gear is restricted and when the trailer needs to be coupled or decoupled frequently and is a component of the automatic coupling system JOST KKS.
As an innovation, JOST presented the King Pin Finder in Milan, a camera integrated in the fifth wheel coupling that supports the coupling process by sending optimum images to the dashboard in the driver’s cabin. Securely integrated into the fifth wheel coupling, the JOST King Pin Finder provides assistance during coupling, thereby enhancing both safety and convenience.
The JOST DCA WEIGHTMASTER PLUS highlighted its capability to reduce emissions, protect resources and maximise efficiency. The optimised structure of the entire axle reduces the trio weight by 51 kg. In combination with the optional Weight Optimiser 27, the air bellows support with a lightweight aluminium tail end structure.
JOST-owned Hyva also unveiled its highly flexible hydraulic kits that are engineered to cover the full spectrum of applications – from 3.5-tonne vehicles to 2- and 3-axle trucks, up to complete tractor wet kit solutions.
The hydraulics specialist demonstrated its cylinder portfolio includes both front-end and underbody solutions, as well as its Hookloader solutions, and its innovations, such as the Digital Tipping Solutions (DTS) and the ePowerbox100.
ROCKINGER exhibited another innovation at Transpotec in the form of the Drawbar Finder, resulting in drivers no longer needing to get out of their trucks to check that the drawbar eye is aligned correctly.
The JOST CSA and TRIDEC EF-S revealed how it is perfect for tight depots and narrow city streets, showcasing its command steer axle with electronic steering system.
