Netherlands-based company, DLG Logistics, has strengthened its position in container and temperature-controlled transport through the addition of Gebr. Van der Windt Transport Maasland BV, effective 1 July 2026.
The move reinforces DLG Logistics’ capabilities in overseas container and reefer logistics while supporting the company’s long-term strategy of sustainable growth and greater specialisation in key transport sectors.
Based in Maasdijk, Gebr. Van der Windt has built a strong reputation in fruit and vegetable logistics, developing into a specialist in container and refrigerated transport over recent decades. The company serves a broad customer base with a focus on quality, operational expertise and customer service.
DLG Logistics said the addition will enhance its knowledge, capacity and operational expertise in container and reefer transport, creating opportunities to optimise logistics operations, accelerate innovation, improve sustainability initiatives and further strengthen customer service.
The integration will also enable greater knowledge sharing and the exchange of best practices across the wider DLG Logistics organisation.
For existing Gebr. Van der Windt customers, day-to-day operations will remain unchanged. The company confirmed that existing services will continue as normal, with customers retaining their familiar points of contact to ensure continuity and maintain the high level of personalised service for which the business is known.
The expansion reinforces DLG Logistics’ ambitions to invest further in specialised logistics services while strengthening its position in the fruit and vegetable, food and container logistics sectors.
DLG Logistics operates across the DailyFresh, Cold Chain and Overseas Container Logistics markets, providing transport and logistics solutions for domestic and international customers from multiple locations.
