Murcia-based road freight transport and logistics company, Disfrimur, has partnered with OEM, Lecitrailer, to modernise and update its trailer fleet.
The collaboration is part of the food supply chain transporter’s strategy for growth and continuous service improvement, coupled with its commitment to operate efficient, reliable vehicles adapted to the current demands of commercial transport and its clients.
In this first phase of the arrangement the company, based in Spain’s south-east, has received the first Evolution refrigerated semi-trailer units from Lecitrailer, specially configured for food distribution.
It said the delivery marks the starting point of a broader renewal plan that will be completed throughout 2026.
The differentiating value of this project is in the technical configuration of the semi-trailers, where Lecitrailer has integrated special side reinforcements and a high-resistance floor without altering the standard refrigerated trailer structure.
This solution allows Disfrimur to have significantly more robust vehicles for intensive use in food distribution.
With food transport requires a semi-trailer that can withstand constant loading and unloading operations at the dock in often variable temperatures, Disfrimur turned to Lecitrailer’s expertise .
Thanks to the applied reinforcements, the Frigo Evolution offers greater protection and stability, perfectly adapting to the company’s operational needs.
Disfrimur operates a fleet of more than 600 vehicles at its operational bases throughout Spain.
Headquartered in Sangonera la Seca, Murcia, the company operates by providing services to large retailers and manufacturers, offering solutions ranging from temperature-controlled transport to complete supply chain management.
