The China-based OEM debuted its electric truck and trailer projects and more at the 2025 China Commercial Vehicle Show (CCVS) in Wuhan this week.
This development marks a milestone in CIMC Vehicles’ strategy to link intelligent manufacturing, electrification and ecosystem integration under the banner ‘Star-Chained Only’.
Occupying more than 2,600 square metres at the Wuhan International Expo Center, CIMC Vehicles presented 19 flagship models across three dedicated zones from 10-13 November 2025 – its main booth, an EVRT (Electric Tractors and Trailers) pavilion and the joint CIMC–SHAC ‘Sanhao Development’ stand.
The exhibition underscored the company’s ambition to evolve beyond manufacturing into a full value-chain operator across domestic and international markets.
CIMC Vehicles Chair and CEO, Li Guiping, opened the show by highlighting the company’s progress under its ‘Star-Chained Plan’, an initiative to strengthen collaboration, efficiency and innovation across its global production network. He announced the official launch of CIMC’s 2026 ‘Star-Chained’ Semi-Trailer Annual Model, developed to meet the twin demands of technological advancement and scenario-specific logistics applications.
Among the highlights was the Ouguan M-series liquid food transport tanker, a new-generation stainless-steel trailer integrating European technology and advanced material science to enhance hygiene, thermal performance and unloading efficiency.

CIMC Vehicles also announced the formation of a Liquid Food Transport Industry Chain Safety and Collaboration Alliance, aimed at improving standards and traceability across the liquid transport segment.
In the hazardous goods sector, CIMC Vehicles joined leading enterprises in signing the Joint Initiative on Intrinsic Safety for Hazardous Chemical Transport, supporting the implementation of the new GB21668-2025 National Standard and reinforcing the company’s leadership in compliant transport equipment.
CIMC’s ‘StarStorm’ vehicle transporter also made its debut, aligning with China’s latest ‘Special Governance Action Plan for Vehicle Transporters’. The new model reflects the company’s continued focus on safety, efficiency and operational reliability in the vehicle logistics segment.
At the EVRT booth, CIMC Vehicles introduced its engineering-type EV tractor-trailer solution, a fully integrated system developed under the company’s ‘Electric Tractor-Trailers + ALFA+ Operation Base Station’ model.
The solution pairs a purpose-built electric semi-trailer platform with an operational ecosystem that includes charging infrastructure, maintenance hubs and remote operation management. Each ALFA+ base is designed to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while ensuring uptime and operational flexibility for fleet operators.

Guiping emphasised that the shift to electrification requires more than energy substitution. It demands ecosystem-level innovation. CIMC’s EVRT platform aims to provide a reference model for the sector’s transition toward low-carbon, intelligent logistics.
CIMC Vehicles also showcased its ongoing partnership with SHAC under the ‘Sanhao Development’ initiative, built on the philosophy of ‘Sanhao Products, Five-Good Values’ – covering selection, purchase, use, service and resale.
The two companies highlighted their integrated New Energy Cold Chain Transporter, extending the collaboration into sustainable refrigerated logistics. The delivery of the 30,000th integrated vehicle marked a significant milestone for the joint program, which has evolved through three generations since its inception.
Across its three exhibition zones, CIMC Vehicles presented a cohesive ecosystem of intelligent trailers, electric platforms, and value-driven partnerships. It is a model that CIMC Vehicles said can push the commercial vehicle sector beyond price-driven competition toward innovation-led growth.
As China’s new energy and transport sectors enter the ’15th Five-Year Plan’ era, CIMC Vehicles is positioning itself to lead the convergence of smart manufacturing, green logistics and global supply chain integration.
