To strengthen healthcare supply chains and expand product availability across the Asia Pacific region, CEVA Logistics and CooperVision have opened a new regional service centre in Singapore.
Located within CEVA Logistics’ healthcare hub at the Airport Logistics Park, adjacent to Changi Airport’s Free Trade Zone, the facility represents the first stage of a wider infrastructure investment to support CooperVision’s regional growth strategy.
CEVA’s specialist healthcare logistics capabilities, including quality assurance and regulatory compliance teams, will play a central role in boosting distribution performance.
The new centre significantly expands CooperVision’s regional product range, enabling up to 7,000 additional SKUs to be made available to customers. CooperVision, a division of CooperCompanies and a leading global contact lens manufacturer, said the hub will allow practitioners to access a broader selection of toric and multifocal lenses, improving service for patients across Asia Pacific.
By centralising inventory, the regional service centre is expected to reduce the need for local stockholding and speed up fulfilment of non-stocked items.
CEVA Logistics has also implemented a healthcare-specific warehouse management system and in-house laser marking capabilities, licensed by Singapore’s National Environment Agency, to support efficient repackaging and compliance.
CEVA Logistics APAC Contract Logistics Vice President, Brunno Matta, said the company is expanding its tech-driven healthcare solutions to support the region’s growing demand.
CooperVision APAC Head of Distribution, Sam Ng, added that the collaboration is designed to elevate customer experience through smarter, more responsive logistics.
