Consumers are now taking control of their own home deliveries as ‘Where’s my parcel?’ calls have reportedly declined by 10 per cent.
Within six months, 250,000 customers have signed up to Aramex’s new self-service delivery portal – this comes after the logistics freight and courier service met the demands of e-commerce businesses and parcel recipients through aramexConnect.
The application is reported to offer an easy to use, online self-service portal that streamlines sending and receiving parcels, allowing users to access photo-proof delivery, print labels, track deliveries and more.
Through this new advancement the 10 per cent drop in customer service inquiries has meant customers readily have the tools to find their own answers.
“Customers want fewer unknowns and more control without having to pick up the phone,” said Aramex Regional Director, Mark Little.
The transparent application offers real-time control and helps keep recipients informed, while allowing logistics teams to focus on moving parcels as opposed to managing customer expectations.
