Yusen Logistics has officially opened its new pharmaceutical hub in Gembloux, Belgium.
Located in what is described as the heart of Belgium’s “Pharma Valley,” the facility will provide storage, x-dock and specialised packaging. The building, which is powered by its own wind turbine, is designed to meet the demands of the pharmaceutical industry, combining innovation, security and environmental responsibility to provide optimal logistics solutions for sensitive products, the company said.
It will include:
-Temperature-controlled storage: ambient 15-25°C, refrigerated 2-8°C, and frozen -25°C.
-Packaging expertise: solutions from -196°C to +25°C for all cold chain needs.
-Comprehensive transport: local & global services to more than 100 countries.
“The opening of this new pharmaceutical hall at the Isnes Healthcare Distribution Center is a key milestone in our strategy to enhance the hub structure in the Benelux region for our pharma business,” said Managing Director, Bruno Jacques. “This investment reflects our commitment to meeting our customers’ evolving needs and supporting their growth with innovative and reliable logistics solutions.”
