Computer-Aided Engineering
Computer-Aided Engineering or CAE is a crucial part of Lucidity Group’s R&D process. The company uses CAE technology to detect potential design issues early and find optimal solutions for improvements. This not only increases design efficiency, but also significantly reduces risks and costs during development. By doing so, Lucidity Group ensures that each product undergoes comprehensive testing and optimisation before production, achieving the best performance and quality.
Prototyping
Lucidity Group is equipped with the latest 3D printers and CNC machines, allowing the company to quickly and accurately produce product prototypes. Its Rapid Prototyping machines provide initial appearance and structural assembly verification within the factory, accelerating product development and allowing it to offer concrete solutions during the design phase.
This enables customers to see the actual product characteristics in advance and make necessary adjustments and improvements. This flexible and efficient prototyping capability speeds projects forward, shortening the development process.
Verification and testing
To ensure the high quality of mass-produced products, Lucidity Group implements stringent verification processes in accordance with IATF16949. This international standard is the premier quality management system in the automotive industry, and through this process the company ensures that every product meets the highest quality requirements.
Lucidity Group also utilises regulatory-compliant environmental testing equipment to ensure product performance meets automotive installation requirements. The optical functions, after testing, comply with the requirements of various national regulations.
Additionally, the company employs advanced 2D and 3D coordinate measuring machines to accurately measure the dimensions of each product part, ensuring they meet exacting design specifications.
Through continuous technological advancements, its latest products have design features including 3D curved shape protruding from the surface of the lens as taillight, presenting a distinctive visual effect as well as sequential directional indicator that works in synchronisation when mounting 2-3 units.
These innovative technologies not only enhance the product’s aesthetics, but also significantly improve its functionality and usability.
