Product powerhouse: Versus-Omega

With nearly 20 years of experience, Versus-Omega is committed to innovation and quality, but with an impressive nine new products to be unveiled at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover, Germany, the company has arguably outdone itself.

The upcoming IAA Transportation expo in Hanover promises once again to be a showcase of the latest technologies and innovations in the transport sector, and the area of transport products is no exception, thanks in large part to Versus-Omega.

The Belgium-based company will present no less than nine new products, all designed to further enhance the efficiency and safety of transport solutions. Here is an overview of these groundbreaking innovations.

The 35mm roof: distinguished by its thin profile, it ensures optimal use of the internal height of the cargo space, significantly increasing the loading capacity without compromising structural integrity.

The Brooklyn tarpaulin: designed to meet the stringent XL standard (EN-12642) in Europe, this tarpaulin is reinforced with welded bands in a diagonal pattern on the underside, providing extra strength and durability. It’s a reliable choice for demanding transport tasks.

The Oxo-Strap cargo securing system: this innovative system uses ratchets and straps to secure cargo primarily in the direction of travel, providing a robust solution to ensure the safety of cargo during transport.

The Penta Wave Pro and the Penta Wave Wall: these are two new variants of the existing Penta Wave side sliding system. The Penta Wave Pro features steel hinges that form a continuous chain, ideal for securing cargo in the direction of travel. The steel hinges lie flat and serve as a guide when loading from the rear.

Meanwhile the Penta Wave Wall variant uses full aluminum panels connected with hinges. This system prevents cargo from getting between the stanchions, and offers excellent rearward cargo securing capabilities.

Penta City Pro: in addition to the well-known Penta City slider system, the newly designed Penta City Pro features rollers connected by a tube. This design prevents cargo from pressing directly against the side curtain and improves lateral stability.

Scala: this new concept for sliding pillars offers a wide range of configuration options. The basic body of this sliding stanchion remains the same but can be expanded and customised according to the customer’s specific needs.

Oxo-Tyre: another specialised cargo securing solution designed for securing cargo, such as tires or loose-packed goods, this system prevents the side curtains from bulging due to cargo pressure, ensuring a stable and safe transport environment.

Hydraman pump (aluminum): with various lifting systems in its range, Versus-Omega has now developed an aluminum version of the Hydraman pump, offering the same strength as the traditional pump but at a significantly lighter weight. Additionally, the connection components have been improved and are as strong as before but have a lower weight and a more competitive price.

The innovations from Versus-Omega promise to further revolutionise the transport sector by focusing on increased efficiency, safety and adaptability.
