For more than thirty years Lecitrailer has been building vehicles from its factory in Spain.
Considered one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of trailers and semi-trailers, which are built to the highest quality, hauliers have grown to know its products as being durable, safe and versatile.
In addition to design and manufacturing, Lecitrailer sells second-hand vehicles and has an expansive stock of original spare parts for all brands. All these services are complemented by its own after-sales service bases.
Thanks to the trust of its customers, Lecitrailer is the market leader in Spain with a 26.51 per cent share in the first half of 2024 and is a benchmark brand in the main product categories of the Spanish market, which includes curtainsiders, vans, reefer semi-trailers, container carriers, trailers, platforms and steel tippers.
With an annual production of more than 9,000 units, Lecitrailer exports over 50 per cent of its production. This has led to achieving a market share of 10 per cent in France and 20 per cent in Portugal. It has also consolidated its position as a benchmark manufacturer in other markets such as Italy, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The reinvestment of the company’s profits makes it possible to invest heavily in research, development and innovation, enabling it to remain at the forefront of semi-trailer manufacturing. As an example, Lecitrailer is investing €8.8 million to develop an automatic welding robot line and a new fiber laser cutting station. In terms of panel production, it has increased its number of vacuum tables to bolster production capacity, as well as incorporated a 3D cutting machine.
Lecitrailer semi-trailer chassis have been subjected to the cataphoresis process (KTL), which ensures a uniform coating of 30 microns over the entire surface, the highest chassis protection on the market, which allows it to offer a 10-year guarantee against corrosion perforation.
Lecitrailer’s flexibility when it comes to manufacturing any configuration of vehicles and their resistance is one of its biggest advantages. Production flexibility allows Lecitrailer to adapt its vehicles to the characteristics and regulations of each one of the countries in which it markets its vehicles.
Another of its competitive advantages is its after-sales service bases, where it repairs every type of semi-trailer of all brands. Lecitrailer is the only manufacturer in Europe that dedicates 30 per cent of its workforce to the repair, maintenance and sale of spare parts. It devotes all its efforts in this field through seven of its own facilities located in three countries, with a combined surface area of more than 500,000 square metres, in Zaragoza, Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Seville as well as Lyon, France and the recently inaugurated facility in Mangualde, Portugal. All of them are exclusively customer-oriented, open 16 hours a day, which means they are always very close to their customers.
All Lecitrailer service bases are equipped with the most advanced technology on the market. They have a chassis straightening rack, shot blasting booth, paint booth, brake tester, laser tyre alignment system and repair pits.
At Lecitrailer’s after-sales service bases, customers can find the LT Store spare parts shops, where they will see their purchasing experience improved in a sales area where personalised attention and service is further enhanced.
These establishments sell more than 30,000 references of spare parts of the main brands, for any type and brand of trailer or semi-trailer. Lecitrailer’s LT Stores also have their own delivery service to customers’ premises, with specific vehicles equipped for safer and more efficient transport, with multiple unloading facilities, which speeds up loading and unloading times. They are currently in operation at the after-sales service bases in Saragossa, Madrid, Seville and Mangualde. Over the next few months, LT Store points of sale will be opened in the rest of the Lecitrailer bases
