Schmitz Cargobull is partnering with ZINQ to introduce a Digital Circular Product Passport for hot-dip galvanised steel chassis for trailers.
The passport, according to ZINQ, aims to enable transparent documentation of the ‘circular economy’ details of the product.
“In order to advance the DCPP prototype, the involvement of as many players as possible in the supply chain of hot-dip galvanised steel products is necessary,” said ZINQ CEO, Lars Baumgürtel.
“With Dr Günter Schweitzer, Chief Operations Officer at Schmitz Cargobull AG, we have gained a convinced comrade-in-arms in this future-oriented field, with whom we will jointly shape circular transformation and implement the goals of the EU Green Deal.”
