XPO to service trade show shipping in Vegas

North American transportation provider, XPO, has opened a new freight centre in Las Vegas that will support the company’s expanded trade show shipping service.

The new site, XPO’s second in Las Vegas, also enables faster service to local customers and more efficient routing of freight across the Southwest and Rockies.

“We’re pleased to continue opening our new service centres on schedule and to be deepening our presence in Nevada,” said CEO, Dave Bates. “Las Vegas is a vital shipping gateway for our customers and a major destination for trade shows and conventions.”

One of area’s largest trucking facilities at 3,300 square metres, it is located on the south side of the city. It is expected to expand the company’s ability to provide trade show shipping services, including personalised support from a trade show concierge desk, five days of complimentary storage for shipments and the backing of the company’s  coast-to-coast network.

XPO has also recently opened new service centres in Landover, Maryland and Sherman, Texas.

In other news, A.P. Moller-Maersk will continue to secure exports from Kotahi, New Zealand’s largest containerised freight manager.
