Dutch companies merge to create SVZ Transport

Two family-owned transport companies in the Netherlands have merged to create SVZ Transport.

Van Straalen de Vries Transport (VSDV) and Zandbergen Transport, said the decision to merge was based on shared values ​​of sustainability, professionalism, a future-oriented vision and commitment to quality.

The hope is that the newly formed SVZ Transport will have a stronger position and network of partners, with branches spread throughout the country, and become a leading player in the Benelux, northern France and western Germany.

The merger will result in 1,800 semi-trailers and trailers, 100,000 m2 of storage space and a team of 1,750 employees, spread over more than 35 locations throughout the Netherlands.

SVZ Transport will run under the leadership of Rober van Straalen and Jos Zandbergen.
