cargo-partner expands across the Channel

Transport and logistics provider, cargo-partner, will open its first warehouse in the UK.

Located next to one of its existing offices in Basildon, just outside London, the new 4,460 m² facility complements cargo-partner’s existing UK operational offices across Manchester, Bradford and London.

Equipped with dedicated areas for pallet storage, block storage, storage of small parts and picking/packing it will integrate with cargo-partner’s global network.

“While we have always offered warehousing services through partners, the Basildon facility represents our first cargo-partner managed warehousing facility in the UK,” said Managing Director Ireland & UK, Fergal Keenan. “This strategic investment marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide end-to-end logistics solutions to our customers.”

The facility, the Austrian based company said, represents a period of rapid growth in the UK and, alongside a well-established presence in Dublin, Ireland, it is well-positioned to support businesses of all sizes across the British Isles with their local and international trade requirements.

The new Basildon warehouse joins a portfolio of modern cargo-partner warehouses around the world, with a total of over 300,000 m² of storage space throughout Europe, Southeast Asia and the USA. Further significant logistics investments in Western Europe include the 10,000 m² iLogistics Center in Sottrum near Hamburg, Germany, as well as the 5,900 m² warehouse in Roermond, the Netherlands.
