Mexico-US logistics partnership announced

American transport company, Saia Inc, has announced a partnership with Fletes Mexico via its less-than-truckload division, Carga Express.

As a result of the collaboration, Saia will service Carga Express shipments entering the US, while Carga Express will handle Saia freight that enters Mexico.

“We are excited about this new partnership with Carga Express as our companies share similar values when it comes to providing efficient, on-time transportation solutions for customers,” said Saia Vice President, Juan Barroso. “Our customers will benefit from Carga Express’ network of distribution centres and commitment to providing leading less-than-truckload service into and across Mexico.”

Celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year, Saia began its operations in Louisiana, and today operates 194 terminals across the United States, with plans to open 15 to 20 new terminals as it adds direct service to new geographies.

“We are very pleased to partner with Sia,” said the CEO of Fletes Mexico, Miguel Gomez. “Our customers will greatly benefit from Saia’s extensive network of terminals around the US and with access to our network throughout Mexico, we will be able to offer Saia’s US customers unparalleled north and southbound cross-border services.”
