JOST secures truck racing deal

JOST has announced it will be partnering with the European Truck Racing Association (ETRA).

The German company, a specialist in the production of systems, components and technology for commercial vehicles, will feature heavily during the European truck racing calendar.

“We are very proud to join the Goodyear FIA ETRC as a sponsor,” said JOST CEO, Joachim Dürr. “The truck racing series is not only known for the spirit of innovation and performance on the racetrack but also for the memorable #OneTruckFamily atmosphere. With our safety technology and assistance systems we support the truck drivers in managing their daily work.”

Throughout the racing calendar, JOST will be featured within the paddock, showcasing its products. In addition, the company will deliver workshop sessions in its known “Truck Stop” format during various events throughout the season which kicks off at the end of May in Misano, Italy and finishes in Spain in October.

The JOST brand includes fifth wheel couplings, landing gears, ball bearing turntables, king pins and container locks as well as components for alternating systems. Truck and trailer axles are also sold under the JOST brand.

JOST currently employs 4,500 staff worldwide and has sales and production sites in more than 25 countries.

In other news, A truck parking facility in Northern France has taken the top award this year.
