More logistical growth in US

Gebrüder Weiss is expanding in the United States once again, opening a new location in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The Austrian transport and logistics company will take over the sea and air freight forwarding company Cargo-Link, which operates a 2,000 sqm logistics warehouse close to Salt Lake City International Airport.

“We are continuously consolidating our presence in North America,” said the member of the Gebrüder Weiss Management Board responsible for the Air & Sea business unit, Lothar Thoma.  “With Cargo-Link’s services, we are targeting the logistics needs of small and medium-sized companies. We will continue to develop Salt Lake City in our network as a starting point for worldwide air & sea transportation with a focus on transpacific and transatlantic transports,”

Gebrüder Weiss has been active in the USA  since 2017 with a total of eleven locations including offices opened in Laredo, Texas and Miami, Florida last year.

In other news, a Dutch logistics company has taken delivery of five new Krone semi-trailers.
