Krone makes curtainsider delivery

A Dutch logistics company has taken delivery of five new Krone semi-trailers.

Roel Ottenheim Logistics, based in Roermond, Netherlands has begun to put the Krone Profi Liners to use, transporting cargo to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

The trailers, with sliding tarpaulin are each equipped with sliding roofs and a Code XL load securing certificate. They are also all designed in keeping with Roel Ottenheim’s unique corporate logo and colours.

The logistics and freight-forwarding company clocks up more than ten thousand kilometres per year, spread over twenty thousand shipments per year.

Krone’s Profi Liner generation provide modular solutions and contain a number of galvanised components including outer frames, corner stanchions or side and under ride guards. Cranked tarpaulin rollers in the outer boom ensure that the sliding curtain runs smoothly.

In other news, DHL is connecting customers on Earth with space through lunar deliveries.
