New President for Heil Trailer Asia

Engineered Transportation International (EnTrans) has announced the appointment of Nicholas Ling as President of Heil Trailer Asia.

In his role, Ling assumes full managerial authority over Heil Trailer Asia’s operations.

“Nicholas brings with him a wealth of experience, with over 17 years of exemplary leadership in commercial and operational roles,” said EnTrans CEO, Ryan Rockafellow.

“I’m confident that he will be integral to our ongoing efforts to drive commercial expansion with new products and new markets.”

Born in Malaysia, Ling is fluent in English and Cantonese and proficient in Mandarin, Hokkien, Foochow, Malay, Bahasa Indonesia and Thai.

“His personal background, coupled with his professional experience, makes him uniquely qualified to help bring growth to the Asian market of the business,” said EnTrans CCO and SVP, Jake Radish.

EnTrans said Ling has more than two decades of experience in establishing and managing business transformation in various key industries, including automotive, heavy machinery, industrial and telecommunications, across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Oceania and, most recently, the US.

He most recently served as the Managing Director of Panus International, which resulted in the company’s transformation into a leading player in the intermodal chassis industry; he specialises in organisational transformation, market growth expansion, new market start-ups, strategic sales and marketing management, global product development and distribution.

Ling holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Curtin University of Technology, Australia.

“I am looking forward to expanding Heil Trailer Asia’s presence in the Asian market,” said Ling. “Heil Trailer and EnTrans have a reputation of employing the latest manufacturing techniques while paying the utmost attention to their core values such as safety and safe environmental practices. I’m certain that, together with my team, we can increase Heil’s market share in this geographic sector.”
