US-based liquid and dry bulk carrier, TransWood, has agreed to acquire Sinclair Trucking Company assets.
This deal is expected to close September 2023.
Sinclair Trucking is reported to manage the delivery process of petroleum products and fuels to retail stations as well as provide logistics support.
“This acquisition allows us to expand our footprint and geography with a major key customer,” said TransWood President, Brian Wood.
“In addition to their fleet, Sinclair Trucking has highly-skilled drivers, mechanics and management personnel that we believe will be a great addition of knowledge and experience to service the customer base in the safest manner, employing better-than-industry best practices. We are currently working with Sinclair Trucking to transition personnel to our organisation.”
TransWood is headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, and has been in operation since 1928.
